231 DRIVERS ON TRACK AT THE BRIDGESTONE SUPERCUP OF LONATO FOR THE FINAL OF 11 OCTOBER

A total of 243 entered drivers, 231 of which passed sporting scrutineering at the South Garda Karting track of Lonato for the second and final round of the Bridgestone Supercup and South Garda Rok Trophy. Final stages on Sunday.
 
Lonato del Garda (Brescia, Italy). The Bridgestone Supercup and South Garda Rok Trophy is putting on a show with a great level of competitiveness at the circuit South Garda Karting of Lonato, as qualifying heats have been run on Saturday to narrow down the list of finalists that will challenge each other on Sunday 11 October for the race that has a money prize worth 40.000 Euros.
 
Record figures have been scored once again, with 243 drivers entered (130 in the Bridgestone Supercup and 113 in the South Garda Rok Trophy) and a total of 231 racers verified. These important numbers are destined to be improved on Saturday 17 October for the Final International classification of Rok Cup, when drivers from all over the world (35 countries) are awaited on track in Lonato. Among these, 120 children of Mini Rok, and further 35 drivers that are currently in the... waiting list!
 
The most crowded category of this round is Mini Rok, that has 103 very young drivers that passed sporting scrutineering. After qualifying on Friday, 12 qualifying heats have taken place on Saturday to decide the list of finalists among which the main candidates to the final win.
 
In Mini Rok, Leonardo Marseglia (Evokart) scored two wins, as did Leandro Anderruti (Gold), Luca Griggs (CRG), Leonardo Caglioni (Evokart) and Biagio Ruvolo (Energy). A victory  went to the Greek driver Timotheos Dimitriou (Tony Kart) and to Mattia Michelotto (Energy).
 
In the two qualifying heats of KZ2 one win each went to Luca Corberi (Tony Kart-Vortex) and to Andrea Dalè (CRG-Tm). Dalè will therefore start the Prefinal on Sunday on pole and will be followed by Corberi, while Giacomo Pollini and Davide Forè, both CRG-Tm will get away from the second row of the grid.
 
The two heats of KF Junior were won by the Spaniard David Vidales (Energy-Tm). Lorenzo Colombo (Tony Kart-Lke) will start the Prefinal from the front row alongside Vidales, thanks to two second places.
 
Regarding the other Rok Cup categories, in Junior Rok the quickest time in Group 1 was posted by Nicola Abrusci in 45.492s, while Nicola Pagano was quickest in Group 2 with a laptime of 45.464s, both Tony Kart.
 
In Rok, the quickest time in qualifying was set by Ludovico Laurini (Tony Kart) in 44.571s, in Super Rok by the German Josef Sticht (Tony Kart) in 43.848s, in Shifter Rok by Gianmarco Ercoli (PCR) in 42.875s.
