Alongside national categories, Rok Cup categories will also make it to the track for the Rok Cup Challenge in a joint event with the final race of the Trophy scheduled for October 7-8. This will be a chance for drivers to get ready ahead of the important Rok Cup International Final of October 14th.
Lonato del Garda (Brescia, Italy). The Autumn Trophy in Lonato is all set to be another participation success, as a high number of drivers will compete in the national categories and in Rok Cup this coming weekend.
More than 250 drivers are expected to get on track for the closing round of the Autumn Trophy, race scheduled for October 7-8, 2017. In the occasion, Rok Cup categories will also be battling out the penultimate round of the Rok Cup Challenge, eying the important yearly appointment with the Rok Cup International Final, that will take place on October 11-14.
Big figures have been scored obviously by Rok Cup. In particular, Mini is already targeting 100 entries, but Junior Rok and the other categories will also have a lot of drivers on track.
The program of Saturday October 7th schedules Practice and Qualifying for all categories, followed by two series of Rok Mini heats and Junior Rok heats. On Sunday October 8th, the racing action will feature Free Practice, Prefinals and Finals for all categories. The prize ceremony of the finals and of the Autumn Trophy will follow.
The victories in the first round of the Autumn Trophy went to Massimo Dante (Maranello-Tm) in KZ2, Leandro Anderruti (Maranello-Tm) in OK-Junior, Alfio Spina (CRG-Tm) 60 Mini, Christian Romeo (Tony Kart-Lke) in Entry Level, Mauro Moretti (Tony Kart-Tm) in KZ4, Cristian Griggio (Maranello-Tm) in KZ3 Over, Riccardo Nalon (Formula K-Tm) in KZ3 Under and Roberto Cesari (Oberon-Tm) in KZ3 Junior.
