Lonato del Garda (Brescia, Italy). Entry lists of the 21st Winter Cup to be held at the South Garda Karting track of Lonato, race scheduled for the weekend of 19-20-21 February 2016, open on 21 December.
This first event of the year is quite awaited already, as the classing opening race of international karting will take place on the brand new circuit of Lonato that has been recently renovated in a large part and now spans a total length of 1.200 meters. The new layout has been made even more spectacular by the two straights and the new chicane that increased a lot the speed of the circuit.
Mini Rok, the new OK and OK Junior and KZ2 are the categories that will be on track for edition 2016. YLM Bridgestone tyres will be fitted on all the categories and these rubbers will be a lot more performing than the compound employed up to 2015. Mini Rok will require Licence D, that will be issued also to 8 years old conductors from 2016, if they held an E or F Licence in the previous year. Should this not be the case, they will either be required to have passed a qualification test of second level held at the one of the Karting Technical Centers of the ACI Federal School, or to have attended the Karting Summer Camp. Starting from 2016, foreign drivers will also qualify for Mini Rok if they hold a licence issued by their Federation and the VISA of the corresponding ASN.
Entry lists of the 21st Winter Cup will close on 8 February 2016.
Applications must be sent online through the website racing.southgardakarting.it. Entry fees will have to be paid via credit card.
