THE FINAL ROUND OF THE 27. SPRING TROPHY IN LONATO COUNTS 205 DRIVERS. OVERALL, RECORD FIGURES WITH 500 DRIVERS PRESENT IN THE TWO ROUNDS OF THE TROPHY.

The final stages of the 27th Spring Trophy will take place on April 3rd at the South Garda Karting track of Lonato with Prefinals and Finals valid for the national categories and for the Rotax Italia Trophy. A total of 66 drivers on historic karts present too. Live TV coverage on racing.southgardakarting.it.
 
Lonato del Garda (Brescia, Italy). The final round of the 27th Spring Trophy to take place at the South Garda Karting of Lonato will feature once again a good starting list featuring 205 drivers, that will challenge each other in the national categories (60 drivers) and in Rotax Italia (79 drivers), while some further 66 drivers on historic karts will complete the great show with the event inserted in this racing weekend of April 3rd.
 
Considering the 293 drivers present in the first round held last March 20th, a total of 500 drivers have partaken this historic edition of the Spring Trophy that set a new absolute participation record for the event and beyond.
 
On track, qualifying have enliven the day of Saturday with the aim of defining the starting grids of the Prefinals to be held on Sunday April 3rd. In the national categories, the quickest time of KZ2 was set by Enrico Bernardotto (CKR-Tm) in 46.074s, as he proceeded the Maranello Kart's pairing made by the winner of the first round Massimo Dante (46.291s), and Flavio Sani (46.324s), who is at the debut with the Italian outfit. Marco Miastkowski (VKR-Tm) was the quickest of 125 Club in 48.035s, Emanuele Denti (Rossokorsa-Tm) posted the fastest time of Prodriver Under in 47.318s, while Prodriver Over charts were topped by Andrea Tonoli (CRG-Tm) in 47.760s, 60 Mini's by Paul Enders (CRG-Iame) in 55.627s and Entry Level's by Pietro Antonelli (Top Kart-Lke) in 1.00.555s.
 
Regarding the Rotax Trophy – race valid as the third round of North Zone, Riccardo Alberti (BirelArt) has been the quickest of DD2 in 48.388s, leading the several times winner Claudio Pagliarani (Sodi), while the pole position of DD2 Over went to Giuseppe Riscica (Sodi). The quickest time of Junior Rotax was posted by Matteo Di Persia (Birel), that of Rotax Max by Biagio Amati (Sodi), as Anthony Somma (Exprit) was the quickest of  Rotax Max Over and Federico Chiamenti (EKS) of Rotax Mini.
 
The event will be entirely available through the Live TV service on Sunday 3 April at racing.southgardakarting.it.
