The national categories and the Rotax Italia Trophy will be racing in Lonato, while historic karts will be protagonist of a series of demonstration runs on 2 - 3 April. Live Streaming service available on Sunday April 3rd at racing.southgardakarting.it.
Lonato del Garda (Brescia, Italy). Following the successful opener held last March 20th with a national record participation of 293 drivers, the final round of the 27th Sprint Trophy is scheduled for Saturday 2nd and Sunday 3rd April at the South Garda Karting circuit of Lonato.
About 200 drivers are awaited for the final round to be held on 2-3 April. They will be competing in the national categories (KZ2, Entry Level, 60 Mini, Prodriver Under, Prodriver Over and 125 Club) and battle out the Spring Trophy, while the categories of the Rotax Challenge Italia North Area will run their third round of the season and a good group of historic karting enthusiasts coming from all over Europe will get on track for a series of demonstration runs.
Free practice are scheduled for Saturday April 2nd, as qualifying, while Prefinals and Finals will take place on Sunday April 3rd. On Sunday, the race will be available through Live Streaming at racing.southgardakarting.it.
Massimo Dante, Maranello-Tm, secured the KZ2 victory in the first round of the 27th Spring Trophy held last March 20th. The Italian continued therefore his momentum after dominating the three Lonato-based trophies held last season (Spring Trophy, Summer Trophy and Autumn Trophy). The Entry Level, reserved to 6-8yrs kids, was won by Alessandro Antonelli (Top Kart-Lke), while the German Paul Enders (CRG-Iame) claimed the victory in 60 Mini, Roberto Cesari (Maranello-Tm) that of Prodriver Under. Paolo Scagnelli (Energy-Tm) took the victory in Prodriver Over instead and Davide Micheletti (Maranello-Maxter) that of 125 Club.
