The final round of the 29th Spring Trophy, race to be held in the weekend of March 25th, has a great driver participation: around 230 drivers are in fact about to take part in this event that will also be the opener of the single-make Rok Cup Trophy North Area. National categories will get on track too for the second round of their campaign, one week after the opener.
National categories Entry Level, 60 Mini, OK-Junior and KZ2 will get on track again for the Spring Trophy 2018. Among these grades, KZ2 has a great entry list featuring 44 drivers, a lot of which new and very fast, like Francesco Celenta on Praga, the Croatian Kristiajan Habulin on TBKart, Lorenzo Lapina on CKR and several others, that are ready to challenge last Sunday’s winner William Lanzeni on Ricciardo. The number of drivers taking part in 60 Mini is also quite interesting: the 23 young drivers on track will be led by the winner of the first round, the Swiss Kiano Blum on CRG.
Rok Cup is also showing good numbers in what is going to be the opener of the North Area trophy. The single-make trophy powered by Vortex will have several foreign drivers at the start: the participation in 60 Mini is going to be great with 42 drivers, as that of Junior Rok (45 drivers), Senior Rok (35) and Shifter Rok (20). Categories Super Rok and Expert Rok will complete the grades contesting Rok Cup.
Sporting Scrutineering will take place on Saturday March 24th (10.30-12.30 and 13.30-17.30, local time), while Free practice will be run between 8.00 and 18.00. Park ferme rules with tyres checking through barcode will then apply. The fuel used will be Tamoil 100% octanes. Qualifying and final stages will get underway on Sunday March 25th. All results, Live Timing and Live Streaming will be available at racing.southgardakarting.it.
