The first round of the 27th Spring Trophy, race to be held next March 19-20, will have a great participation. The race will be valid as first round of the Regional Championship Lombardia and as first round of the Rok Cup Area North. Live Streaming and Live Timing services on the official website.
Lonato del Garda (Brescia, Italy). Engines are still on at the South Garda Karting circuit of Lonato for the first round of the Spring Trophy. The event that reached this year its 27th edition features again a very solid participation of 200 entered drivers.
The race is going to be valid as the first round of the Regional Championship Lombardia and also as the first round of the Rok Cup Area North Championship, as in the latter case the opener scheduled in another track had to be canceled due to bad weather.
The renewed 1.200 meters long circuit of the South Garda Karting awaits a strong participation with all national categories and those of Rok Cup, that is Mini Rok, Junior Rok, Senior Rok, Super Rok and Rok Shifter on track.
Among the national categories, KZ2 will have a strong entry list featuring drivers of the likes of Massimo Dante on Maranello, who won the past edition of the Spring Trophy and that will be aiming to score a counter-charge after the DNF of last Sunday at the Andrea Margutti Trophy. Andrea Spagni and the Austrian Christoph Hold will also partake in the event on Maranello. Among the main protagonists, a good performance is awaited from Alessandro Pelizzari on CKR, as well as from his team mate Enrico Bernardotto, and from Nicola Gnudi on Vrk. Danilo Albanese, on Tony Kart, will also hunt for a good result after the unlucky debut of last Sunday at the Margutti Trophy.
Rok categories will be quite crowded, especially Mini Rok that will have about 50 drivers at the starting blocks. This category reserved to the youngest drivers was won last year by Edoardo Villa, who will also be at the start in this occasion. Other winners of the past edition will be present this time around too: Domenico Cicognini (now moved to Super Rok) in Junior Rok, Ludovico Laurini in Rok, Vittorio Maria Russo in Super Rok, and Gabriele Bensi in Rok Shifter.

Free practice, qualifying practice and qualifying will take place on Saturday 19 March. Heats, Prefinals and Finals will follow on Sunday 20 March.
